User Guide

A quick walkthrough of everything the Chord Sheet Transposer can do.

1. Upload a chord sheet

Drop a photo or screenshot of a chord sheet onto the upload area, or click to choose a file (PNG, JPG, or WebP). The tool reads the chords straight off the page — lyrics are never touched.

2. Choose a new key

Use the Transpose controls to shift up or down by semitones. Switch between sharp (♯), flat (♭), or standard pop spelling at any time — the sheet updates instantly.

3. Fix anything missed or misread

Turn on Edit mode to correct a chord: click a detected (green) box to exclude it, or drag on the image to add a chord the detector missed.

4. Adjust the chord text size

Use the Size controls to make the rewritten chords bigger or smaller without affecting the underlying image.

5. Compare views

Switch between the Transposed, Detected (debug), and Original tabs to see exactly what changed.

6. Save your work (optional)

Create a free account to save a processed sheet — your key, spelling, and any manual corrections are kept exactly as you left them. Reopen it anytime from Saved sheets.
