Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

The service

Chord Sheet Transposer lets you upload an image of a chord sheet, detects the chords in it, and rewrites them into a different key. Creating an account lets you save a processed sheet and reopen it later. The service is provided free of charge, with no ads and no subscription.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. Use a real email address you control — password resets and any account-related communication go there.

Acceptable use

Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, don't use the service to attempt to disrupt or abuse the infrastructure it runs on, and don't attempt to access another user's account or saved sheets.

No warranty, availability

The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Chord detection is automated and can miss or misread chords — always check the transposed result before relying on it. We don't guarantee the service will be available at all times or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service itself over time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

[TODO: governing law / jurisdiction to be specified — not yet determined.]
